Serpom Thoesam Norling School
To provide young monks with modern education, Serpom Thoesam Norling School was opened on April 25, 2009, the day Serpom Monastery was established. Around 150 students aged under 15 attend the school’s classes, which range from kindergarten through class five. The students learn Tibetan literature, Tibetan handwriting, English, math, science and social studies and so on. Under the headmaster Venerable Geshe Ngawang Thapkhe, there are three English teachers, two Tibetan teachers, and four teachers for spiritual texts. The school is open from 9 AM to 11 AM and from 1:30 PM to 4 PM everyday but Tuesday.

Serpom library has an almost complete set of Buddhist texts which are indispensable for the monastic curriculum, and a few books in English and other languages. It is open from 9 AM to 11 AM, and from 1:30 PM to 4 PM everyday but Tuesday. Venerable Tripon Rinpoche heads Serpom Library. The library' staffs type and print rare Buddhist texts under the auspicious of patrons. And the library endeavour to fulfil the aspiration of hundred of students in Serpom Monastery.

Established in 2008, Serpom Health Point provides First Aids free of charge, which has been very helpful to date. The Point has three staffs including Venerable Gelek Samdup who was trained as health worker in Bangalore. And SHP has a project to expand its aims and funtion in order to render medical treatment to more patients to the satisfaction.
