Upon the request of patrons, the Monastery organizes pujas or offering ceremonies in the Assembly Hall. There are morning, lunch and dinner pujas, which typically last two hours. Patrons distribute offerings in the form of ten rupees or any other amount they are willing to provide. This is the sole income for general monks, with which they meet their expenses. On occasion the monastery sponsors a puja to spread peace and harmony in India and the world, as well as to prevent deathly epidemics such as Swine Flue in these days.
